Courses Overview
This qualification is appropriate for employees in the construction and built environment sector who work across a broad range of areas and general building operations within the construction industry. It is designed to assess occupational competence in the workplace where learners must demonstrate skills and knowledge to a level required in the construction industry.
Who is the course for?
This course is ideal for operatives who are working in the construction industry in construction operations and engineering , either experienced or just starting out in the industry.
How you will be assessed?
The qualification is delivered on-site by one of our specialist NVQ Assessors. The assessment is being made via the portfolio of evidence. A high level of support will also be provided to help you complete the NVQ requirements.
Entry Requirements
There are no formal entry requirements for this qualification. However, potential candidates must be able to demonstrate to us they can meet the requirements of the qualification before enrolment
Progression Routes
Achievement of this qualification confirms the learner has gained the knowledge and skills required to :
- Progress onto a Level 3 NVQ Diploma in Occupational Work Supervision
- Industry will accept the qualification on its own as entry to a job role.
In addition, successful achievement of the qualification will allow the individual to apply for a Blue CSCS card.
