Courses Overview
This Level 6 NVQ Diploma is a work-based qualification designed to assess occupational competence in the workplace where individuals have managerial responsibilities, technical skills, and knowledge at a level required by the construction industry for their position. These should be across a broad range of activities with a substantial degree of personal responsibility and autonomy.

Who is the course for?
This course is ideal for operatives who are working in the construction industry, either experienced or in a suitable role which meets requirements for this course.
How you will be assessed?
The qualification is delivered on-site by one of our specialist NVQ Assessors. The assessment is being made via the portfolio of evidence. A high level of support will also be provided to help you complete the NVQ requirements.
Each candidate is given direct support by their Assessor via telephone and email throughout the process to ensure that as much appropriate guidance is given as possible.
Entry Requirements
There are no formal entry requirements for this qualification. However, potential candidates must be able to demonstrate to us they can meet the requirements of the qualification before enrolment.
Progression Routes
Achievement of this qualification confirms the learner has gained the knowledge and skills required to :
- Progress onto a Level 7 NVQ Diploma In Diploma in Construction Senior Management
In addition, successful achievement of the qualification will allow the individual to apply for a Black CSCS card.
