Course Overview
This Level 2 NVQ Diploma in Decorative Finishing and Industrial Painting Occupations (Construction) Painter provides the opportunity for individuals who specialise in painting and decorating to demonstrate their competence. If you are an experienced worker but don't have the qualification, this route may be exactly what you are looking for.
With the requirement for all site workers to hold skilled worker cards, the need for experienced tradesmen to gain NVQs has never been more important. Without the right qualification, you will be unable to gain access to site to undertake your work.
Who is the course for?
This course is ideal for operatives who are working in the construction industry, either experienced or just starting out in the industry.
How you will be assessed?
The qualification is delivered on-site by one of our specialist NVQ Assessors. The assessment is being made via the portfolio of evidence. A high level of support will also be provided to help you complete the NVQ requirements.
Entry Requirements
There are no formal entry requirements for this qualification. However, potential candidates must be able to demonstrate to us they can meet the requirements of the qualification before enrolment.
Progression Routes
Achievement of this qualification confirms the learner has gained the knowledge and skills required to :
- Work in Cladding Occupations.
- Progress onto a Level 3 NVQ Diploma in Occupational Work Supervision
In addition, successful achievement of the qualification will allow the individual to apply for a Blue CSCS card.
This course is carried out by on site assessment and training (OSAT)
